My mystery fox finally looking like a young adult! She's growing up so fast ;_; While walking doing other affairs in the building I could hear her making sad little fox noises that I haven't heard since she was a kit (she's going through the October Crazies [google for more info]) so I went in by her and she crawled right in my lap and started nibbling my pants. She was especially calm and cuddly, I even got a few kisses X3 I hope she stays more lonely throughout October Crazies and doesn't get aggressive. Regardless, we're all being very careful and are glad it is just a phase. Took this picture as I was ready to leave; she wanted me to stay longer. I would have, but I had to get back and finish homework.
Fox tip of the week: Be careful what you take into a fox exhibit with you because they will want to steal it
Still not telling what the surprise is, but obviously I wasn't gifted a dead baby fox to taxidermy because she's older now X3 Am I working at a zoo? Volunteering at a wildlife sanctuary? Did I finally loose my mind and buy a fox?! Only time will tell...

DISCLAIMER:
No, this is not a wild fox. She was born in a ranch where her mother killed all but her and her brother, so the breeder found them better homes. She has been hand raised by humans since before her eyes were open, and has never shown any signs of fear or aggression with them. In the state of Wisconsin red foxes require a Captive Wildlife B License, and must have an outdoor enclosure that fits very specific requirements. This fox in particular has an indoor/outdoor enclosure she enjoys living in with many things to play with and people around constantly to give her attention.
